Sat. Nov 10 – THE PEOPLE YOU MEET  Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him.  Action step:  Offer hospitality to those you meet.

First Presbyterian Church remembers those who served and are serving in our military in our prayers on Veteran’s Day, and all days.  Thank a veteran for their service on Nov. 11th-12th.

Fir Nov 9th – GIVE YOUR LIFE ANOTHER GLANCE  O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.  Action step:  Share one good thing about your day with someone close to you.

Thursday, Nov 8 – A CHANCE ENCOUNTER  “Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord your God…”  Action Step:  Find a way to share what God has given you.

This Sunday, Nov. 11th, we are looking forward to our Men’s Quartet to perform during our worship service!  They will be performing “We the People” as well as the “Four Fold Amen”.  Please come and enjoy!

Weds. Nov 7 – A LOVE LETTER  Scripture 1 Corinthians 2:9 (www.biblegateway.com for scripture) “What God has prepared for those who love Him….”  Action Step:  Write a letter to someone you love.

Basket Weaving Class for Nov 6th has been postponed.  Please join us for class on Tuesday, Nov 13th!  Bring your newspaper and create a treasure! All ages are welcome – no experience needed.

Tuesday, Nov 6 – EMBRACE LIFE Scripture Psalm 139:10  Even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast.  Action step:  Be the ‘hand’ of God to someone today.

We are honored to have Chaplain Howard Cole lead us in worship this Sunday, Nov 11th!  Join us as he shares his military memorablia and experiences with us – to include his grandfather’s original military discharge papers from the Civil War!  You won’t want to miss this – see you there!
